I Finally finish my novel The Devil and Miss Prym by Paulo Coelho the Brazil writer that inspires me so much with each and every novel. Yes I am most probably obsessed with him. I dont really touch on any other book except his nowadays.. I wish he will continue writing and continue to inspire us !

What I have learnt:

In the novel it discuss about the nature of humans. The good and evil. For centuries the good and evil, yin and yang the angel and devil has maintain balance in the world. In each and everyone of us comprises of the good and bad.

I know sometimes situation drives us to our bad side or feel that the world is unjust. Why are the good punished for something that wasnt done? For multiple times I might have pledge vengeance against the almighty. The more I was "punished" the more I think that the good does not pay. While there will be many times human will be drove to edge, many people do not realize that we are sometimes blinded my our rage.

We are constantly battling with ourselves with choices, good and bad. I must admit that I find it much more easier to make bad choices. It's easier to hate than to forgive but I can't find solace with just hating. Feels like my life is going no where. Just then I told myself that hating is draining energy on my side, and I cant hate forever.

What am I trying to say that it's not uncommon to battle with yourself. Sometimes you'll lose yourself in the process, to find balance with yourself it's all worth it. It does not matter how people may view your thought progress as someone crazy, fret not because you are not alone. Everyone is constantly battling themselves, some may not admit, some already found peace for the moment.

The choices between good and bad, angel or devil is entirely up to you. Just take note, do not let your choice consume who you are. DO NOT LOSE YOURSELF..

If you are at the brink of losing yourself, find comfort in someone's embrace, if you do not have someone to embrace find somewhere that will bring you peace. It can be anywhere :D

Rurouni Kenshin (2012) Teaser Trailer

Yes it's finally here ! The "REAL" Rorouni Kenshin ! My first ever one and only anime I was crazy about 12 years ago ... (yes 12 years ago I was in Secondary 1... Definitely getting old! now every child calls me aunty -_-"' ) Although I am excited for the movie the Kenshin, but at Kenshin has a high expectation to meet since his my childhood idol.. :P at first look I was disappointed with the guy playing the main character.. because I am not shy to say I have someone else in mind to be my kenshin.

Doesnt he have the "kenshin" look at the side ?? hees
Look at his killer stare to me he already won half the battle with this stare :)

Unmistakably, a korean actor but I think he will portray Kenshin very well as much as he portrayed Bidam in Queen Seon Duk.. I am totally in love with him his evilness, vulnerability, loving, longing eyes... EXACTLY what kenshin will need because every strong personnel needs some one to rely and express their vulnerability at times which i will touch on later. ;)

Lucky Plaza ??? Not so Lucky After all

It was a very hmm what shall I say ? Shocking experience !

I swear it was one of those moments that i will remember forever.

Lets begin the story met yan hui, voon ling and I met for dinner at orchard. During dinner we have decided to head to lucky plaza to look at the fuji film bundle. At that time it was around 9pm the shops are closing. We headed to level two to look for a fujifilm subsidiary store. PLease take a look at my layout plan below ..

because I was having a dose of drowsy medication, I was rather tired after climbing up two levels of staircase so I was pacing behind. VL was surfing for information while YH was checking out the store. At first I saw a suspicious man at point A but i didnt think that much because he was just looking over. (some how I have no idea why he caught my attention.) then after that as he was near VL at point B he pretended to look for the store ... and suddenly he launch himself at VL (at this point of time my first reaction was OMG why is he attacking my friend?? ) then he grab my friend's Iphone started to run and bang onto Yh's left shoulder. (at that time my thought was SOMEONE please help why ISNT anyone helping at all!! oh my gosh what should I do ?? ) I froze in the moment so did VL lol then I start hopping ... "Oh Oh OH OH MY GOD" "Snatch thief" and I started to run. ( YH thought that I was hyper... -_-"' and I have no idea why my first instinct wasn't to scream even as I watch him launch ... ) I am SO SO SO SHOCKED ! I didnt know what to do ... even as I gave chase together with YH behind me, my mind was full. I was thinking what should i do to snatch back started to analyse my own strength, and then as he turn at the corner I slowed down. I told myself to at least wait for YH to catch up with me. because he might make use of the blind spot to attack me.

In the end we lost him. -_-"'

I surprise myself.. because I found out my cowardly side... the reaction, I should have reacted right, I should have scream.. even though the suspicion was raised at point A but I was oblivious ... I finally understand what it's like to be your own angel and devil.

Angel: to help my friend chase down the man

Devil: being oblivious and taking care of my own safety during my chase rather than going forth

I was cowardly, even though my friend say that it wasnt my fault to begin with. But it was still cowardly. the reaction .... It wasn't right why was I thinking more about my well being rather than helping out. Why is there no one of the same physical strength helping the girls out ? there were so Many people there. WHY ?

Why am I more worried about getting punch at the corner and slowed down for the moment ?

There are so many whys in this scenario. and worst of all I swear I saw the guy in light brown T shirt ... BUT it turns out dark colored. It looks like I am very disorientated by the medicine.

After so many hours of telling the same thing making a police report.... BLAH BLAH BLAH we laughed... it was a funny experience. It was shocking it was weird too ! weird to me because of my thought process ... anyway beware of this Man!! you can spit at his picture or help us curse him until he got his own karma.. HOW DARE HE ! HE SHALL BE PLACE IN MY HALL OF SHAME ! Foreigners !! Humph ! We are earning hard earn money the same way as you ! WHY the hell would you choose to take the "easy" way to steal or snatch ?!

You can't hide long especially hiding from consequences ... It will sneak up to you sooner or later ...

Bike X 2012

Bike X 2012 is here again !! This time there is only 1 public participant... so we were practically in NTU's event. But since YEC already agreed to cooperate, Xiu ming, Hee Long , Jon and I were there to support NTU students. This time it was pretty challenging because the event was pretty last minute and I was already sick ! Argh !! The total distance was about 40 km.

1st Pit stop: from Pasir Ris Carpark D ---> Changi Village Hawker,

These few days i have been hearing this ... why is your face so oily ?? Yes I am glowing ! why dont you ask me if I'm pregnant? instead of the same old question ? I can't stop my pores from producing the oils ... >.<

We cycle til the dawn break.. yes... while I was cycling back from Gardens by the bay to East Coast Park, it was a mental torture... my butt was sore ... REALLY sore I can't even sit at my sides.. pedaling becomes really hard and my knees began to feel numb.. there were so many times I feel like giving up telling myself that it's okay because I am sick I should not push myself. But Hee Loong was really sweet he accompanied me all the way til we are back.

We even got lost ! because I was cycling like grandma lol. When we reached East Coast Park ... Hee Loong was telling my ten more minutes and we will reach macdonald... 10 minutes became 20 minutes 20 became 30 minutes. I Swear I would have killed Hee Loong ! lol

Finally we have reached Macdonald! My happy meal ! :D HEe loong was so tired that he feels so distant... even thou he was just 20, he kept complaining about old age ... -_-"' !

OKay now it's off back home .. It started at 8.30pm and reached home at 8.30am can you believe it ! Now I have to build up my stamina for OCBC this year for SURE

In the end my family and friends thinks I'm crazy for pushing myself SO FAR this time. But I dont really like to be "bed ridden" sick.. So I will proceed with my life until my body says it's tired.. usually it will be okay :D

Limits is only what you set out to be isn't it ? ;)

Starting with a Clean Slate

Hello~

As you guys notice by now if you do keep track my template for my blog is change to something cleaner less complicating.

Loving how my blog so far.

In this blog, there are two tag lines that will run throughout the year and somehow my year's resolution as well.

Last year in 2011, some how disappointment drowns the light. So many disappointments in humans life and goals. I do have many resolution set last year. but some how there were still a few that were not fulfilled.

Well we can't let the past defines us some how right ?

One of the program I love is.. Dog Whisperer. Although this show is rehabilitation of dogs, I do not have a dog I find the way of dog rehabilitation similar human way of life. In fact it reveals our loop hole of life.

So now I may say that I rather live like dogs.

I find their way of living pretty meaningful.

To know more, I have embedded the interview about which talks about his principles.

But one point that he didn't mention in the interview is: Live in the Now.

Do not let the past drag you, LIVE IN THE PRESENT and not worry about the future.

This i will follow. and I will try to forgive someone a hundred percent because my heart cannot trust someone hundred percent. Neither will I show my true heart. So to forgive and start at Zero is pretty hard. But for the very least I will try.

SO ! shall we start sharing my resolution or my motto for my new Layout ?

I have been staring what I can do with my name for a VERY long time. I came up with this.

Why?

Because after last year I find my life pretty adventurous lol even though I may be tired of living at times because the obstacles I face, I break down and cry (yes everyone is vulnerable and I'm not afraid of expressing my venerability.) Every time I break I find my poise, and learn from the adventures and obstacles that life bestow on me. SURE i will be thinking why do I deserve punishment ? What have I done wrong to get the SAME punishment again and again? Did I not learn? Did I not get wiser?

But ultimately I want to tell myself that this will be written in my life's biography (my head) and move on. Every Sad things in life will be inverted to become a happier one :)

Okay on with the second Motto:

felt is more of the past tense of feel but not the woolen cloth material felt. I don't know how you may view this blog. It may be a blog full of rambles to you, or perhaps some crap that this person has nothing better to do with her life. Why waste my time and blog? Dont I have anything else better to do??

Well my blog is my expression of feelings. Just like a painting can express any gestures to you, I am expressing myself to you. You may view me as a emotional weakling, or self absorb socialite. But you may never know the true interior of a blogger. Nobody is stupid enough to tell you everything by blog. Everyone has their own secret so do I. So if you wanna judge me by my blog go ahead. It will be childish to do so. IF you know me for long term, and still judge me for what I've told you before and written go ahead, you still may not know me for who I am. (and I bet it's real)

Things I will share with you is my feelings. If anyone wants to use my feelings as a weapon to break me. I already had my fair share of battles to know better.

So I wont say I will share my REAL feelings with you. But I will share my feelings in general that I think it's great to pen down and tell you what I have learnt.

Some thoughts may be random because I'm constantly thinking, some thoughts may be through experience. But ultimately I do not want to direct any anger at anyone and do harm. I do not think it's wise to hang your dirty laundry up in the air ( in this case internet )

Dont you know people are skeptics and judgmental ? Showing dirty laundry might not be the best move you can make to portray yourself to the public let alone friends.

I am going to be a oxy moron and State that I am human sometimes i will hang my dirty laundry. But not personal stuffs ! So forgive me if I did especially the recent post about Snapshop Asia. HAHA !

My New Year Resolutions ?

I am not going to share my goals yet. Since it's so common I bet everyone had the same as mine. We all just want to do well and contribute to the world's history isn't it ? Very pageantry answer but some how vaguely true

My New Year Eve I should say it's Epic ! It is nice to let things loose once in a while.. Not long ago, my fiance told me I'm in Stomp! -_-"' not exactly what I am looking for due to the reputation that Stomp have, when you're up on their web it couldn't be anything good.

Luckily I am not drunk enough to do anything stupid just a picture to show things happening in Singapore (PHew! and I thought I'm in trouble ! )

It was fascinating to me that one of the guy featured in the picture was really ecstatic bout the whole stomp thing. But to me it was more like trouble lol !

Clubbing is like a Taboo.. you know that it's a place where you can get yourself into trouble yet it's a place where people go to have fun and some how boost your morale.

Question: How can clubbing boost your morale ?

Scenario 1: a guy eyes on a girl approaches the girl and ask her for a dance

Morale boost 1: An affirmation from a stranger that you are still attractive and wanted. Sounds cheesy but it does gives a positive vibe

Scenario 2: A guy approaches a girl at the dance floor in hopes of getting lucky tonight

Morale Boost 2: If the girl is too drunk to reason with herself the guy scores ! meaning he still got the moves...

Scenario 3: A girl is asked to go up to the pole and do some dancing

Morale boost 3: A girl feels great about herself, basically boils down to be sexy enough to do erotic dance for guys

I can go on and on about how clubbing boost your morale.. It may seem like nonsense to some or maybe it just sounds like I'm justifying such a rebellious act on my part.

It may be true that some people go there with agenda, but my only agenda is to enjoy the music and let the music drown all my problems just to live in the moment. It ain't that bad isn't it ?

I have been studying how a guy approach a girl in a club so far but I guess it will be another post!

For now I just want to share what a fantastic time I had with the peeps that join us ! In Butter factory. Sure it may be squeezy and all. Nonetheless still fun ! Thanks for looking out although I pretty much know who was eyeing.

As usual I'll be narrating as I go through the pictures !

Fiance and I reach butter first, but because of our friends coming later, We practically spent our time worrying if they could not even get into the club ...
So we tried to chill and took a couple of pictures LOL
Ultimately, it was 2012, and friends arent in the club yet. My vision for the whole night is to see a un-disrupted view of the fireworks but all my plans were ruined.. 1) the balloons were blocking once the balloons drop I was panicking (yes I'm afraid of bursting balloons). 2) there was a tree blocking the view. 3) it was chaotic inside
In the midst of trying to avoid balloons we found this cute little penguin on the floor :D

too bad we had to throw it away because I dont see myself carrying this penguin the WHOLE night.
Then Fiance's friends finally arrive! haha ! well better late than never !

Usually I dont like to drink in clubs because I dont like being vulnerable in clubs. As girls I am wary that some guys are just here for the hunt. Take the ques at the staircase at the wee hours of the night in Zouk. Some guys are just standing there waiting for the "right" moment to approach girls. But because this is new year after all.. I had a couple of drinks ... As usual I turned red.. (-_-"')

After 3 o clock the crowds are beginning to disperse, and you know what we did? we stole butter's decoration; the penguin! haha ! who can resist this cute little thing?
I put this picture deliberately because I met this self proclaim japanese girl who was obviously drunk and high. She scream at my ear (my ear drums almost burst with pain) and the guy beside her? I'm not even sure if that's her boyfriend because she express her disinterest in boys...

See what I told you ? morale boost for the guy ! he is damn lucky and she is damn unlucky to have him... ( but hey you never know if they are a couple or not)

Since it does not concern us let's take it as it is ... and assume all is real..

Moral of the picture: never get too drunk!

In the end we partayed. Poor Fiance got really sick after that !

After the whole night. I was strolling back looking at the first dawn of the year.

And I tell myself that I will never let my past define who I am or drag me down.

I am looking forward and living the moment.

This is the New Year, New Beginning, New Adventure.

Change Is constant

Yo guys !

Firstly, happy new year again ! I cAn repeat this over and over again just so I can lift my own spirits up ! Anyway I have been having this thought in my head over and over again about changes ..
Changes brings uncertainty, it may be a blessing in disguise or a devil with a dagger behind Its back . Since it's 50 50 chance , why the hell we humans are so afraid of ? Isn't the gamble in life that gives you the most valuable lessons and harvest in life ? Why this thought occur to me is that I find myself in the same disposition with the others when I wad hugging my bolster at night .. Last time I use to or sort of ridicule the idea .. Of can't bear to leave your childhood doll or keepsake ... It's as if it's a part of them .. Karin has her magmag , Melissa has her dolly . I swear looking at especially dolly will give the yuck or eerk to any stranger ... Yet now I find myself doing the exact same thing hugging the hideous bolster .. I admit it's yucky , I can't even show people my bolster when visiting . Yet I can't imagine living without it or throwing my bolster away.

Then this occur to my mind, why do I feel at ease whenever I come back to my bolster every night ? Is it because knowing that changes is always happening and having something constant keeps me at ease ? Am I afraid of changes ? Is my leap of faith diminishing ?

Yes I must admit that I am afraid of changes .. Because gradually growing , reality sinks in gradually as well. Just when you realize nothing is constant except changes ... Change is constant and it scares a hell outta people to know the uncertainty of the future ? Yet we love thrillers and complain that dramas are boring because we know where the ending leads to ... Isn't it an oxy moron ?

Perhaps humans should be in mind that change is constant at least it sounds more assuring that people change , the whole world may change , we are getting accustom to the dramatic change in weather .. Tsunami, floods and earth quake isn't uncommon any more .. At least one thing is for sure that it will stay the same .. Changes .. No matter for better or worst, we keep faith that whatever changes that the world gives us we always get something in return good or bad it does not matter .. Because in the end Its still valuable. Maybe one day I will grow to be more courageous (oh yes pls !! I'm already 25.. But it does not mean I'm not a child at heart who is still pacing my growth)

Some people may argue with this sentence but since it's something in trend in 2012 let me say this as a metaphor can I?

Even though the world may end.. Changes is still hAppening because there is not such thing as a full stop in mother nature only dot dot dot ... Get it ? Hees
Doesn't matter as long as I get my analogy it'll be fine !

My Xmas 2011

I know this is a really late post since 2012 already hit ! :P but I have to pen down my special xmas isnt it ?

This year as organised by my sister's organization, We went over to Johor to volunteer ar the Orphanage. My contribution is : Face, and hand painting. My sister bought crayons .. and liquid paint with brush like tooth brush bristles .. ( doesnt make it any easier ) under the scrutiny of the children I paint slowly to make every one my master piece .. but .. kids shall be kids very frank ! (which is a very good )

This is actually my first time in an orphanage. I cant help being a skeptic of their living environment surprisingly, the orphanage system is very well organised ! the older children takes initiative to take care of the young. Everyone helps out in the house chores ... ( Which reflects on my own initiation to do house chores ! Opps :P ) I wouldnt wanna change anything about this xmas contribution :D

Another special day is ... my aunt's wedding on boxing day she's not young, she weds at 39 years old. I admire her faith and strength in this case she is a very strong opinion-ed. Looking at her "happy ending" brings me to tear .. what I can learn from this wedding is to keep faith and love yourself. ultimately your soul mate will come to you. :)

I was appointed Emcee .. Mandarin emcee to be exact! (oh my... I am not the best composer in mandarin I am also not good in pronunciation especially when I'm nervous. ) Since the couple ask I am honored to do my best :D hees

ANGRY ! SNAPSHOP ASIA is A CON !

After holding on every ounce of hope ... It finally drain down on me today .. the repair man pronounce my LCA dead ... there were major problem that makes my photos SO EERIE ... automatic multi exposure. So I went to message the shop owner/sales assistant.

the first issue was raise during the 3 month warranty

the button was loose when it was sold to my friend the shop assistant reassured my friend that they will fix it for me ...

and in the end the button was indeed LOST and when mel and I went back to the shop, they just say why you lost the button?! so they promise to replace my button . and this is what happen.

Mei is the shop assistant and business partner so I was asking her what are my options because I already start to feel insecure. So now I was asking about buying a NEW LC-A+ ....

So Mei decides to charge me 25 dollars if I buy the new one which i think it's not worth it ... because it was a gift ... I rather bear with just the button.

SO NOW .... I have winder problem , the film backing problem the lens open button ... the camera hospital ask me tell me to reconsider the fixing because it cost me freaking 150sgd ! !

As a friend I tell her nicely that there is a problem ... SO now she only say owner's problem not theirs ! WTH please you are doing business you dont know how to handle ... HOW WOULD I KNOW ..!! YOU DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WOULD I KNOW ? are YOU PUSHING RESPONSIBILITY >?

so much sorry and blaming me ..

Rejection is probably one of the most negative noun one can ever face. Even the strongest character can crumble through rejection… And I have to be frank and admit that I’m crumbling. (haha, haha because usually I’ll be the one who push people’s spirit up but I am unable to push mine.. isn’t it funny ?) Amongst all kind of rejection I guess I’m more of a hmm what can I say, Socially rejected ?

And I’ll explain my view. Wikipedia (not the best source) explains this:

Social rejection, in psychology, an interpersonal situation that occurs when a person or group of people exclude an individual from a social relationship

Although it may not seem that I have been ostracize but I feel socially rejected. As if there is something amidst from my character and self doubting happens (battling with myself everyday). I am currently looking for a job after my ordeal which will not be disclosed online. After searching high and low for a job about 4 months I find myself stuck in a death trap, struggling to get out but unable to. Psychologically, social rejection is being ostracized from a group unable to look for a job seems similar. Company represents a group of individuals where you can belong to. Although you may have a love hate relationship as you and your company progress, but it’s a safety net to tell yourself that you are in a safe place of shaping your future .. Right now it feels as if everything is uncertain. Uncertainty brings doubt, doubt brings fear, fear brings anger and lastly anger brings remorse.

Yet I find myself remorseful of what it has become. Some part of me decides to blame myself for the current situation and another part of me tells me to be strong.

Clearly I’m not bringing the right energy. I need to be positive that there is something greater lies in store for me. I just have to keep trying and wait .

It may be a hard entry to swallow, but with this distressed economy, I am sure that some people who feels the same way as I do.

If you are caught in the same situation, don’t give up! Because I’ll be hanging on and you’re not alone.. Hang in there and we will achieve much more later!

Late bloomers are just flowers that will be the last one wilting!

How to break a safe.

This post is pretty over due but I thought that I should share anyway because this is a once in a life time experience and I mean it ! lol !

We were staying in Hilton Petaling Jaya on our way out to meet our grand dad (my mum’s side) Usually we lock the passport and valuables in the safe. Since we were upstairs eating our breakfast, my dad lock all our valuables including my sony camera, my Marc Jacob bag, passports and my dad’s video camera in it.

So before we set off, I thought I want to take my camera to take some baby pictures later! BUT the safe would not open with our password!!! Call the technician to come with the master keys. The safe just would not open!

The technician state that the electrical system is spoilt and the only what to open is to force open. Even though it is disrupting our plan to my grand dad’s house, but in my mind : “ oh my gosh this is COOL” who ever see the safe get forcefully open in front of them? It feels like Italian Job (Movie) .

First they took a plier (no idea what’s the long metal rod called ) trying to pry it open. One technician tripled to three. And not there were three men forcefully open our safe! I must say that the safe is really of a good quality. Given that three men’s strength is insufficient to open a reasonably small safe.

the above picture is exactly how the safe look like after at least half an hour of prying it open .. !

So in the end one of the manager suggested bringing down to saw open our safe. I ecstatically volunteered to keep an eye on the safe and valuables with my dad. Acting like a child I skipped down together with the crew.

The manager was rather surprise with my enthusiasm, after all they were hindering our plans to go out. Well the anger and frustration was already subsided, and there were no use getting angry over spilled milk. Even my dad is fascinated with the situation so much so he video in his iphone… (what can I say? Like father like daughter )

The man chain sawed our safe. As sparks flew, I was starting to worry about my articles in the safe. What if they saw my bag , camera or passports ? I told them to be careful of my bag as it fits rather nicely in the safe. Sawing my bag into two was not what I had in mind. After sawing the edges it took three men to open the safe.

No writings can describe how funny the situation is.. but overall I must say that it takes A LOT of effort to break a safe! No wonder all movies prefer bombing the safe because it’s just fast and easy! Lol Since bombing is probably the most stupid thing to do, (it’s like signaling to the police to come catch you ) I suggest to invest in a chain saw! Just carry it to your home and saw them… just like what experience :P

Yo !

I know I still owe you a review post about a book a recently read... Guess with a pile of books I haven't read I can start reviewing books so I can prove that I DO read the books I buy ! and of course to archive the books and summaries my reads ! haha !

Where was I ?

Ah ! I decided to post on the lunar eclipse instead... There were two this year one was the solar eclipse in China the and FINALLY there is a clear sky for lunar eclipse in Singapore ! What's better ? CLEAR SKY !

It was suppose to be a shopping trip that day. But the last minute planning was good enough for me.

Lunar eclipse was really exciting especially when you see the moon gets devoured by shadows!

We were in David's car on our way to Marina Barrage where Yan Hui was waiting. I was pretty ecstatic to see the corner of the moon chip off ! To be honest, I'm new to eclipse (of course I'll get super excited)

Before heading out, I had my Lomo film camera and studied on night photography. In the end ... is wasnt of any used because i forgotten to bring tri pod ... Geez!

My friend Yan Hui had her dslr and I must say that the pictures are fantastic ! (god damn it why cant point and shoot do the same!) To show you how fantastic the eclipse is, I'll show the ones took by Yan hui's Dslr :) yes she was also damn excited because it's her first astronomy photo shoot with her DSLR. So please be nice !

We didnt know when was the full red moon coming so we sat there and wait.... in the midst of waiting I felt a certain warmth inside me, I felt at peace with myself and i thought to myself.. This is pretty romantic (A girl sometimes can dream can't I ? ) Every night when I head home I look at the sky.. so I felt pretty much at ease looking at the sky and doing nothing... I wish I have some kid to lied to ... haha ! I would have told the little kid OH MY GOD! the mood just got stab! he's bleeding ! I would very much enjoy it :P ( I love to talk to kids and look at their innocence because they have what i have lost ) All around me I hear kids telling their parents look! the moon is disappearing! or Look at the red moon! Mummy why is it red?! their curiosity and innocence is so endearing. but of course multiple similar questions becomes irritating. HAH! what an oxy moron

Overall our experience was pretty magical.. My discomfort I had for several days gradually disappears ... as if Moon light ease all my pain. I felt renew. (although it seems dramatic yes I really feel this way) Now I walk pass the moon and I have a NEW appreciation for it's beauty.

Solitude and I

Solitude and I have a love hate relationship .. I know people may tend to think I'm silly with so many good friends around me giving support . But at this moment.. I find myself vunerable ... I need solitude to rest my body .. Yet at the same time I wish some one would just take my burden and take care of me ... Yes a total contradict ... I'm practically trying to hide myself from the masses in the garden bench ... Bracing myself for the afternoon's work ahead.. But it's of no use.. I don't feel safe enough to rest my head in the midst of the greenery .. To describe my situation: I'm sick neither too sick to be contained in bed nor I'm fine to work efficiently .. The cross roads of giving into my sickness or simply not to bother .. Pretty taxing to decide lol !

Perhaps I'm just complicating my situation.. But I'm tempted to explore my weaker self and just to give in.. Even if I did .. No one can truely except the weaker me because I'm always so chirpy .. What an oxy moron .. Lol gosh !! I wish time would just pass faster today ! Or perhaps give me a glimpse of hope n positivity that I may find a job I love ! A perm job pls !! Haha !!

Ever since quiting, my head has been spinning what had I done wrong.. First the blaming then now comes remorse .. I have no idea if I should be thankful to be in this situation.. There are lesson learnt But I just can't help finding a blame on myself or my ex boss .. Whether it's just a plain misunderstanding or am I just naive .. Perhaps it's both .. Perhaps the answer to all my question post in the blog can be neutral ..
I just have to not over think the situation and let it flow ...

Once some one told me that halloween is a festive that girls can get away dressing like a whore../slut and getting away with it ... ( I swear i didnt say this why would i scold my own gender? ) first reaction from every girl is anger I would too but hey if i can be slutty i will but this season I love the comment "you LOOK hideous!" Fantastic ! I dont need to have a neat hair .. I dont need to have fabulous make up ! just be messy and you shall succeed ! WEE ! my girl friends are fantastic ! we have a sexy cop.. and pussy cat (MEOW) and a rag doll ! I do appreciate guys taking the effort :D haha after MUCH persuasion !

Avalon is a pretty high end club .. Good remixes but the crowd dancing on the floor does not hype the whole place ... there were several performances too ! I guess we paid high price for entertainment.

Now USS !!

Gate opened at 8 ! ... Since Yh, Karin and I havent had our dinner .. we've decided to have our dinner at mel's drive in ! Unfortunately not opened by the mel we knew.. haha ! the burger was so so ! but for the same price, I'll rather eat at Carls Junior :P OMG i am sounded exactly like Mel O.O hees ! by the time we've finish eating the peranakan haunted house was already packed with a TWO hours QUEUE ! we wouldnt wanna risk that would we ? Thus we head on to the next best alternative ... The haunted house with rotting corpse? lol ! even thou we knew we would have to queue more than an hour, we would rather queue and have one and I say ONE haunting experience at USS than none...

The experience hmm is a bit funny ? NO .. we are not sadist haha it's just... hmm attempts to scare us is funny :P there were several awkward moments with people who are suppose to scare us ... the man at the back of us even ask " If you're scared why muffled your ear? shouldn't you cover your eyes instead" hmm that's my thing I'm more affected by sounds than visuals .. That's why I dont like watching horror film ... because by the end of it my ears will be SORE !

Overall I LOVE the USS experience ! LOVE IT ! next time I will buy the Express pass ! :D

I would LOVE to go back any time compared to 13 cell, Avalon or night safari Halloween Night!

Yo !

Finally it's my own birthday ... As usual ...whenever birthdays are coming it's time to reflect on my own life... Life hasn't been exactly to plan .. I can either choose to be frustrated or to be grateful for what I have, and negatives are stop before proceeding forward.

Perhaps having high expectation of one self puts you down. Even there's a need for reality check, since people are already putting you down the more you should pick yourself up to neutralize it isnt it?

While working temp an auntie gave me an advice,

Waiting is to anticipate your future without a time line,

thus time pass faster.

Wishing is to anticipate your future within a time frame,

Disappointment comes and time pass slower.

I dont know how true this is but i am willing to try. :D

Anyway on a brighter note, Here is my quarter century birthday celebration pics !

we spent more than 4 hours in the Yacht and I wish it never end I love the sea.. water generally.. It gives me a sense of peace...

It took me two days to marinade the food ... AND I was about 30mins late. thank goodness we made it in time for sunset. :D

Emo analogy

Just a random post (not random At all if you know what's happen or me lol ) just a thought in my head while bathing . Sometimes you ask yourself why do people emo ? (usually short for emotional) call me prejudice but when men go emo I can't stand .. Girls I'm alright . Lol well to me emo is selfish because it's a time when you indulge in self pity, depressed on what's what's happening in your own life . Emo is practically in your own world . I know alot of people will beg to differ and argue .. What if I am emo-ing because of the misfortune of another person? Well you feel sad for him or her at first (that's call sympathy ) but gradually when you ask what's happening to life you question your own life and own vision of the world.. In the end it will be all about you .. Just like drawing a circle .
If emo is selfish, why do people indulge ? Or at least why do Leila say indulge ? Are you sure it's an indulgence if it's gonna be negative and sad ?? The reason I say indulge is because you are enclosing yourself in your own world, giving attention all to yourself. Why would people be emo ?! We emo because we fail to seek attention of the people we matter ...
I know this is random but I just have to pen down my thoughts :) it maybe a duh to some body but it maybe a nod in agreement to another.
As we live our life people will turn selfish because we find out that there are no other people to rely on other than ourselves ... But we must not forget our surroundings it will hurt people when you are in your own world .., may not seem like it to you until someone is hurt ... Haha so it's up to you if you want to step up and argue it out .. Or stay angry that people do not understand your situation . The longer it drag the more hurt induce ...
Living in a selfish world I must say it's bloody hard .. To be honest , I am lonely I feel lonely all the time (if you question why perhaps you do not know me yet yes ! This act is selfish to when you pretty much count how many me's in my post. Blogging is another self indulgence) haha ! So gather up lonely people ! Tell yourself let's not indulge in selfishness anymore !! And love others ! But beware ! (don't tell me I didn't warn you) you need to learn that not every seed you sow will reap ! Thus you can't expect anything from anyone ( I learn it the hard way and I still can cry over it lol ! Stubborn me ! )

I know there is a HUGE lack of updates SO many things happen but i'll update later ! Lets just all start with a happy note , Singapore's Birthday :) this year I got the National Day Parade (NDP) thanks to Kai Ling hees :) We did our usual count down this year... we are doing balloon sculpturing! :) those people who knows me personally I am scared of balloons bursting ! and yet ... haha I am so proud of myself, I've learn how to make flowers, sword and dog :P

and YES National Day all geared up in White and red... and black (AHEM black is not included in the flag but I'm just scared of dirtying my white pants so What are you gonna do ? )

Yong Hao and I met up at Jurong point ... and he was one hour late -_-"' I should have given him a morning call..

This year's NDP fantastic ! fantastic music, Fantastic show of our country's defence FANTASTIC FIRE WORKS ! if you think I'm exaggerating, I am not! The pictures will not do any justice it just defend my view that's all... plus ... the light stick... haha yong hao and I were just Crazy about the photo effect thus we cam whore quite a bit ! (yay! finally a guy who takes picture with u enthusiastically ) After the NDP we were all tired ... :P sleepy... ESP yong hao he was sleepy at the very beginning! and he woke up late! Jey !

I would LOVE to go to the NDP every year... I am SO PROUD to be living in Singapore ! although i'm a pretty oxy moron but Singapore still have my whole childhood .... so I am grateful to the country. :S

Many people might disagree with the word romanticism but when i look at the paintings on the wall it's all I can think of ... DEFINITELY not medieval era ... what do you think my designer friends :D okay let's just take a look at all the photos below and we'll judge alright ?

Introducing, The Cheesecake Cafe... those who likes one of a kind cheese cakes ... do feel free to explore :D but i did tell you the cakes arent fantastic for the price

Photographers will LOVE taking pictures here ... unfortunately.... there are no photography allowed unless there are people in it ... THUS explains our self obsess pictures with mirrors ! so dont judge :D even thou I do have ALOT of self pictures ... all for blogging baby all for blogging

CAKE TIME !

According to tiramisu expert, Vl , the tiramisu is the best among the cake we ordered ... it melts in ur mouth and the liquored sponge is soft and moist just the way i like it :D

Rum and Raisin Cheesecake Qy says that this is the popular cake in this cafe,.. but honestly i couldn't help cringing my face whenever i take a bite definitely not cringing with fear ... but with disgust ... you might defer from my view but the rum soak raisin just does not go well with the creamy cheese cake they have ...

Fresh mango cheese cake was among the best of the cheese cake ... mango was light and slightly sweet give the right acidity to the creaminess of the cheese cake together with some crunch at the bottom overall it was a well balanced cake (WOW I think i watch too much master chef Australia lol )

Oreo Strawberry cheese cake ... some how i wish the strawberry part was marbled or mixed with raspberry puree or strawberry puree instead ... to me it just taste like strawberry flavouring with some attempts of using strawberry bits to cover up... so it was not horrible but just alright ...
perhaps my expectation was a lil higher ? haha but i'll definitely be back for tea and tiramisu :D

Watched Harry potter and the deathly Hallows at Imax yesterday. It was good the effects are great I just wish they wouldnt play cheat on their special effects so much because there were alot of blurred scenes.
I had ten friends all together watching and for the sake of the occasion I made Harry Potter Specs! IT is a lil geeky lol ! because my sizing is all wrong ... but you will give me A for effort wont you ? hees
Overall I enjoyed the experience :D practically grew up with Harry from teenager to an adult ! how time flies ! I dont love it but I dont hate it either ! it was more like PHEW ! I finish the whole series ! 8 YEAR STAMINA ! and it aint easy ! Kudos to all the cast!

PErhaps next time Harry becomes hairless potter.

Been busy working ... I must say it's pretty tough.. When the company aint doing good ... you feel the pressure but you know that once you have any achievement it will feel great ! At times I do cry in front of my boss (yes I know It's not professional) I treat my boss as my friend so I do not intend to hide anything from him or play any politics ... as usual crying scares people but I can't help it...

Working OT at the moment ... Sick , having Flu SO what life's goes on Ultimately I seek comfort with my bolster... because I know thats the only thing I have that doesnt play politics (who can the bolster talk to lying on the bed the whole day ? )
Funny thing is that I dreamt CH went and cut my bolster apart and I cried in reality ... haha SILLY dream ... Kinda realize I have place too much reliance on a bolster . And it scares me a little ... Reliance is weakness. Everyone knows that .
Thats why Never rely too much on anyone because disappointment only grows with it ...

I'm not enjoying holding grudges yet I am holding it because it made such an impact that I'll nv ever forget ... The world is so ugly ... Men cannot be trusted, friends and sometimes family... For now I trust my family the most but I doubt their judgement at times ... Friends I trust them to tell the truth and be frank yet the closeness and possessiveness can kill... Men they only want nothing but sex ... Can they view me as a equal human being ? Someone who he can count on and someone I can count on when I need him ...
The world is turning for the worst admist all these chaos who can I trust and let go my anger and live happily ??
Even when i talk about the past my anger. Boils because u hv hurt me so must I rather be angry than to feel sad Anymore... If i were to be sad I'll ultimately hurt mySelf ... Which I am still doing ...
I realize that until I can open my heart to trust again these anger will never simmer ... And I pray that my patience persist and we shall meet :)
The time will come destiny will prevail . I ain't rushing I'm just leting someone of a higher being to do their work ... While I work on myself ...

This is A SUPER late post from my daddy's birthday to .. May babies birthday :D lol !

For my dad's birthday I decided to make kimchi soup and bim bim bap ...along with a birthday cake of course ... In order to practice my decorating skills for the first time I volunteered to do a cake for my dad because I know he has been nagging at me for making cakes for only my friends !

shall we illustrate the occasion with pictures ?

my sis say that this time I'm really trying to out do myself with ALL the things I wanted to do ... all at once.. with my sis's help we made a perfect dinner !

btw .. Check out my red velvet ! :D it is my first time baking a red velvet and making gum paste to decorate !

and yes ! this is a super UNGLAM picture of me .. preparing the food... Obviously I bath and I dont comb my hair .. I nv comb my hair btw :P so if you were wondering how can my hair be so straight and tame, Well ! BETS me :P

Then it's the may babies Trio birthday ! lol To challenge myself I made a so call three in one cake! Red velvet, Rasberry Cheese cake and oreo base in one ! dont ask me why am I so free to do all this Am I crazy ? Some times I think I am crazy ! lol ! and I did say I was practicing the gum paste decorating.. this time I made .. roses !

Up close on the roses ! What do you think ? I use the method taught by some one who has clay art for their hobby during my primary school~

Guess how many hours I spend to make this cake ?? GUESS ! I baked from 11pm to 2pm the next day ! that makes 15 hours ! I was SO SO tired ! Yes ! I know professional bakers only need few hours .. but this is according to recipe man ! Verdict, the cake was too heavy to be treated as a dessert but I shall give a pat on my own back for putting so much effort for the 3 birthday girls !

Sorry I cant show you the pictures of pretty birthday girls .. because melissa took pictures with her DSLR and as usual you probably have to wait til NEXT YEAR til the pictures are out . Yo !
I'm in the train back home right now .. So I was thinking of penning Down my thoughts I've been for a couple of days ...
I know it may sound insensitive but try to see in our girl's perspective too ..
In the past guys are perhaps less emotional than they are now .. Maybe they might not be able to succumb to their ego to voice their feeling or .. There was no such culture existing in Asia yet. I have been meeting all kind of guys and I do know you guys have emotions and you are just expressing it ... Let me ask u a question: " HOW can you miss me when ... You only met me twice in the store ??"
I'm talking about feasibility here how am I suppose to believe you miss me when right before that you were asking me out in the middle of the night to dance at some club?
Honestly, I hate guys asking me to club ESP when I do not know you well enough for me to trust you . I may sound cocky but I know my assets and I find myself at a vunerable or dangerous situation .
Once my boss told me :" all men are dogs" and he is right . I could catch guys taking a glimpse of my boobs ... I don't ask for it when I dress attractively .. I was doing my own study survey a couple of guys how could tgey take advantage of a vunerable girl when all she wants to have fun ?
Majority replied :" some how they ask to be taken advantage because of their dressing and body language .
Oh PLEASE !! Why dont i rape you when you are dressed attractively ? This is load of bull shit .., some girls do want you to come ... Some girls just want to have some fun . So cant you read the signs and do things at a proper time ??
So the morale of this post is there is always a proper time to express your feelings and when to keep it shut .. I may seem like an open kind of girl but if you want me to believe you, you got to give some time when I built my trust with you . I am not stupid to believe in your sweet nothings when I only met u twice ..

Whilst I was making a scrap book , my boss Ravi sms me : Leila, do you wanna watch thriller live tonight ??

Me: OMG YES !!

hahaha I was that excited.. I heard so much about the concert. Even thou thursday night is kick boxing night ... BUT I really wanna watch the concert ...

Critic : CONCERT was FANTASTIC !!!

The Dancing, was great Singing Fantastic ...

I was going to expect some Micheal Jackson Wanna be at the concert doing his thing BUT it was more of a tribute than a copy ...

The only thing that i will nit picking is the lighting.. It can be irritating to have spot light shining at your face ...

At the concert I laughed I dance I cry ... and this is the particular song I cried to... The singer was so emotional I felt his pain.. and I tear ... Making me tear is a BIG deal especially for movies .. people tear while watching Titanic... I didnt .. -_-"' I guess to me a movie is just a fantasy HUH ! Went in at 7.30 came out at 10 plus ... TELL ME isnt it worth it !! DEFINITELY !! I wouldnt mind watching again if I have a steady income !!

After the concert i awake the True MJ fan in me .. afterall he has some greatest song I have listen to in my childhood ! and I wish he wouldnt have just died out of drug overdose... It's really a pity when the king of music dies ...

and because of this concert I am gonna HUNT down the greatest hit of MJ !! play it all night long and dance AWAY !!

youth hands on actually happened a while back i just didnt have the time to update the activities I went to .. too many activities too little time to blog LOL isnt life great ?? Hees

Anyway back to youth hands on. I can vividly remember waking up REALLY early in the morning putting on the event T shirt which feels like a disposable tissue material.

Then we had a few hundred students and committee members forming a HAND :D heres a picture:

The whole objective of youth hands on is to promote volunteer-ism in youth. So it isnt all about making the huge hand but it's about going out to do some good deed. For our committee, we volunteer to bring old folks home out to under water world. Due to their policies, there are no pictures allowed with the elderly. My partner and I had 3 elderly to take care of ... All three have different personalities.

The uncle is really humorous...and sociable. He love talking about filial. and talks about the past. He says no matter what you do always REMEMBER how your mother suffer when she carry you in her womb and even worst... after you are born.... Then he goes around talking about how he's a bad guy in the past... his body has a HUGE collection of tattoos... weird one i must say so he goes around bragging " I always have fish chicken and vege at my stomach so i am NV hungry "

I was confused " we only ate chicken rice why would there be fish ?? "

then he lift up his shirt and pulled his wrinkly stomach. There lies a small tattoo of a chopping board with fish, chicken and vegetable..

So I started joking:" Uncle, if you are never hungry if you dont have a wok and fire how can you cook the ingredients at your stomach ?? "

YES I know I am lame but i cant help laughing and teasing him . He's so fascinating I enjoyed talking to him .

Another Aunty was pretty hard to deal with she so fierce that she scare people from the committee as well as staff at under water world. -_-"' obviously the aunty has issues but because this is only a short event I cannot find out more to ease her anger so i just address her main concern for now .. and I just talk to her when necessary.. Although I may sound cruel because she's is after all limping. She's not interested in underwater world, Small talk nor help . So I just let her walk around when she's too far away for me to take care of the rest I just called out to her " Aunty ! bus is not that way !! The bus will come in 30 mins time " She will come back to me or follow me ...

I always use this method for little kids especially for my brother when he's young. Because I realize that the more you want to hold someone at their hand to guide them the more they want to get out of it. So just let them walk and when it's getting out of hand call out to them they will come back to you :P

I guess I can apply this to relationship too isnt it ?

OVerall it was really tiring but fulfilling!

The Day I got Rape by a puppy -_-"'

Yo guys !

Went back to Kuala Lumpur recently .. on April's Fools day ! sorry Taige i missed your birthday ! Anyway A new cousin is here ! no name at the moment but from what i heard definitely cute because he looks like his bigger bro ... I cant wait to go back to see the baby :D

Okay as listed on the title .. I am embarrassed to disclose but, I guess it will entertain you all isn't it ?

Let me tell you that this is DEFINITELY R21!

My cousin is in a pet business ... so he exports puppy take care of it breed and sells in Malaysia.. I do know there were several issues about puppy mill

NO it's not a puppy mill... He is a Very strict breeder and an animal LOVER unlike puppy mills they only breed to commercialize and worst of all UNDERAGE breeding, Mistreating dogs and all !

So some pups that needs special care ( too young ) my cousin will bring the pups back home... The place they live in is really envious.... Air con the whole Day ?? A little house just for the pup ?? ENVIOUS !

Upon hearing that my cousin has a Cavalier Charles King Pup this time, I was elated to check it out ... After all my friend is looking for a puppy too :D At first the puppy was growling in defense it was really scared of me.. then when i let it smell my hand it's tail wag... So seeing that this pup is really friendly I let it out to play ... and BOY did i get .... harassed by the puppy..

Call me stupid or noob but when it comes to a pup I am really new at this... I let it free for a moment and the next thing i knew it was coming back at me. .. trying to climb up on my lap... Looking at it's hip it was humping ... Shocked I asked my sister: "isnt this a puppy?? Why is it humping at such a young age?!" I was really confused because this pup is too perky for me to handle ..

(yeah it doesnt look right but I was trying to carry it so it wont hump me...)

(this was my initial shock when i let it out to play... I was expecting running around the TV room but .... it came back to me.. frantically)

So after a while I realized that I cant handle his high status right now... brought it bag to it's cage and it began to cry ...

(how can you not pity the pup when it's looks at you like that ?? )

YEs I felt selfish.. Why lock the puppy up when all it wants is to play with you.. With his pitiful glare ... I say: "alright What's the harm of taking you out to play for a lil longer"

I regret the moment i open the cage door.... It ran out and came to my private (below) and it began to lick ... SOUND SO R RATED but I have NO IDEA how to make it SOUND CLEANER !!

I was shocked and humiliated ... I carried the pup back to it's cage again ... and even though it cried ... I never want to let it out for the moment ...

I told my aunt that her puppy is SUPER horny ... and she tell me no it's just seeking warmth from you ... which explains climbing up on my lap but it doesnt explain the licking of.... you know what...

DARN !! I love animals but there is definitely a boundary to love the animal ... the licking went too far :( I have no idea why it did that either but ! I am open to any explanations right now so i wont feel that i have just been rape by a pup ~

Argh! recalling those memories is an embarrassment ..and that goes for posting this..! I know Oxy moron right ? LOL well It has been a REALLY interesting experience.. why dont I share my embarrassing moment for a change ? :D

Mrs Singapore & Mrs Singapore Classic

time to blog about my family's experience :) After several weeks of preparation, the day is finally here ! Honestly I was thinking that this function brought daughter and mother closer... Went to shop and paired accessories according to trends and gowns ... In time to come I even have to help her change during the competition... LOL

SO... ANYWAY... back to the day of competition, I loan Qx dress to wear but my relative says it's way too short ... ( erm I'll return after washing) lol So as usual ... I dug my mum's wardrobe :P My mother has 2.5 wardrobe ... LOTs of clothes.. remember me saying that im gonna the false eye lash n color contacts one day and see whats the difference ??? TADAA!!

My sister and I ... Both of us has False eye lashes on .. mine with additional of contacts ... What do you think ?

MY fiance and I last year... Trying to find same type of hair and make up so I can do comparison with false and non False ... So what do you think >? False better or non False ?

Do you see any vast difference ?? LOL anyway I got my answer ... Guys like girls with false Eye lashes and color contacts better ... because I just so happen to meet norman my uni mate.. and for the first time he compliment me ~ SO ... I guess it just answer my query that girls with falsies are more attractive ... What do you think ?

Woke up early in the morning to attend SNSC short course ... officiating swimming competition in the early morning can be really tiring .. UNTIL you got splashed by swimmers ..

My Dad picked me up and he was talking about getting a bouquet of flowers for mum when she gets into top 8(Yeah.. both my parents are REALLY confident ) So we pick up my sister head down to jurong point to look at the flowers available unfortunately they only have roses and lilies(either buds or those that will wilt SOON ) For once we only spend 30 mins or less in jurong point .. Left earlier and went to pick up my relatives who came ALL the way from KL to support my mum .. arent they sweet.. Head down to Holland Village in hopes that the Florist in Holland V has more exotic flowers ... Abit of improvement but... They were out of pink lilies.. so The florist designed the bouquet with white roses (MY FAVE) The bouquet is so beautiful and affordable.. cost about 100 dollars .. ( I KNOW it's expensive .. but.. HEY ! it's WAY cheaper than Jurong point..)

Then it is getting ready for the night ! Putting contacts ... make up and everything was easy EXCEPT false Eye lashes.. while putting it on my aunty was laughing REALLY loudly behind me ... -_-"' she says I look hilarious how i try so hard to put something hairy on my eye .. then she started asking if wouldnt it be itchy when there's something poking at ur eye? ( all things girls will do for beauty..)

Went to Orchid country club for the competition the location was really grand double volume spaces ... if i were to compare it to a hotel .. It's way better and cost friendly to hold your wedding dinner there ..

We were 2 hours early so we visit our mum at the back stage, took some photos to pass time ...

During the competition ... I was in front taking all the photos .. honestly I'm glad i didnt wear Qx dress or I will be totally exposed and ... I have done so many hours of kneeling and squatting .. I was SO SO tired when the competition is over.. when my mum is on stage i was kneeling and squatting ... when my mum is at back stage I ran off to help her change... (YES I see alot of undies and naked women ... NOT my usual style... i feel weird lol )

( yeah my dad is really sweet isnt he ? there is no other lady that will replace my mum.. )

This lady here has a VERY moving speech about losing her daughter because she suicide ... The body was so disfigured that the medics and police did not let her see the body ... So she decided to come for this competition and live life to the fullest ! Her sincere platform moved me so much that I have to shake her hand and praise her on her speech and ideology of living life to the fullest ... ! It's not everyone who can fulfill this they are easier said than done.. If people know me ... I always stress that I do not have much time left.. Not being pessimistic but this is to remind myself that I am not gonna let time float by and let fate and god decide what I wanna do I wanna grasp EVERY moment in my life and do what ever I want... be it natural death or end of the world I would not want to live in regret knowing that I was half of my life wondering away..

I havent been posting lately isnt it ? LOL well I have aLOT of past event to update however until now .... I can't think of anything else to write other than EArth Hour... ! and of course my mum's pageant, Mrs Singapore Classic !

On to Earth Hour first ... It was 26th March Woke up super early in the morning .. For SNSC (swim meet ) Shagged ... Went over to qiao xuan house after that to have lunch and slack ..Look at her Bear sushi ... Cute right ? :D

Went over to Hong Kah North CC to help out for EArth Hour After that ... My sis and I have to knock doors together with students from west spring Secondary ....

There was a door that has paint splashed on it.. I dont dare to knock ... I sold about only 4 tickets... WELL it was not bad ... considering I was the only one talking ...

We head back to have our Dinner ... LEe Wee Brothers Nasi Lemak,... cheap and tasty !

I get angry easily ... but my anger easily turns to sorrow because it stays there .... because I would rather cry and cry than to turn into anger again ... because if it turns to anger ... it turns to hate ... and I know it will be even more taxing on me to hate you than to cry and try to let reality sink to me that not everything will go the way I want it ... the only solution is .... to accept that this has happened and you cant change a person's character... lol it doesnt only happen with family it happen all around me ... my friends and etc ... lol ~ If I cried because of a certain thing that you do means... that you are important enough for me to get hurt and stay hurt for you ... So that you and I can still be friends .. and I wont judge you ..

I almost wrote dear diary.. lol If dear diary I'll be writing in my black book... literally :D okay after a quick confirmation my brother has been assigned to Hong Kong to do his attachment for 6 months. Attachment are never a profit ... you'll pay more than you earn... anyway with such a great opportunity .. Why turn it down ? My brother tried very hard for a good attachment overseas .. :D

Had a farewell dinner right before my ocbc cycle... :D we had a private room in Angus steak house again and I must say... their Steak is FANTASTIC! Angus steak house has never fail me in any way ... EVEN their home made bread is fabulous ! Lovely ... here's a sneak peek at the food ... feel free to drool ;)

LOL we are accompanying guys to shop and we didnt complain so shouldn't guys understand the same principles that Shopping needs to be done with ease not hastily ? After all that shopping ... it was Korean food time at Orchard central ... really worth it i tell you ... so many appetizer and it all taste FAB!

AHEM I have yet to try my cold stone ... YET lol !

Then it was off to the airport at Wednesday early morning ...Its my first time going to the budget airport ... some how... it look like a third world airport... lol LAME .. My dad and mum follow suit to arrange the accommodation ... Bye Bye bro ... I hope you take good care of yourself... your mummy will most probably miss you more than she misses me if I ever go lol !

After the preparation and the event day it is TIME ! to blog about the whole experience ! HOHO ! from my purchase of my bike to first time riding ... to ocbc cycle~ From registration on November til now I have worked really hard to buy my bike hees .. pad pad on my back :D at least I dont have to sit down and just wait for someone to fulfill my dreams ... I work for mine :P

Let me introduce my hubby to you :D I hope that my bike and I are like one :D AHEM !

MY beloved hubby ! HEES !

Yeah probably cost a bomb but when it comes to investment I have no regrets lol ! Even though I had my bike two week earlier I didnt get to ride it because of my prolong sickness.. Even though I do not like to be bed ridden given the circumstances it will be like drunk driving.... No such risk is worth it... :) (VL must be nodding in agreement lol! )

All are color coordinated EXCept the hand glove which is only available in blue because there weren't any other of my size left... So too bad ...

Because Qx didnt settle her bike ... she decided to rent at east coast park ... I'm not a fan of East Coast Park because personally I think it is really inconvenient and the beach isnt that fantastic either .. So it is a miracle that we travel all the way down to rent and pay for bike ... like what I told Qx previously that we are like Tai Tai nothing to do traveled all the way to to East Coast Park just to stroll... The moment we reach East Coast Park .... There weren't any breeze it was SO HOT! so Qx ... and I bought something cold to ease the Heat ... ;) After much deliberation qx rented at the first shop... It is the cheapest! at 30 sgd ~ hoho !

Okay ... Qx bike is finally settled... BUT !! I havent ride on my own bike yet!! Due to late shipment and pro long sickness .. I didnt get to ride my bike until.... Wednesday!! :D my first ride with my hubby ... :D Met raf for a brief snack and talk since he was just around the corner teaching music... LOL ! Luckily it's raf not any other guy ... OR i would have embarrass myself... When I first mounted my bike I was SO SO scared... and wobbly ... so he was talking about balancing with one leg ... haha ~ After some teaching ... We went to get busy with our own stuff... I was busy with connecting with my new ride :D

I joined them thinking I would get lucky ... but we were all chased back ~ While riding ...I passed several places to eat !! The smell alone is intoxicating ! So hungry and thirsty ... even though I can drink while riding ... IT's not enough to satisfy me...

I think I'll get punch in the face lol .. Met up with my friend from Singapore Swimming association Samuel ... He's so sweet... He was willing to take care of my bike while i go to the loo ... :P chatted with him even got to know a volunteer from NTU.. After a pretty satisfying break i continue my ride with replenished energy thanks to 100 plus ! HOHOHO !

I am sure many people might oppose to this post as this is mostly bias towards women.. but some how it's true ... It might have been the high social standards that have been set up by media influences ... where guys will fantasize their partner to be on par as their favorite celebrity or perhaps features that reminisce the characteristic of either their mom of celebrity ... Thus adds to the social pressure for women..

Lets start with expenses on the face... Basic Facial care are essential to retain natural beauty without even trying to hard to cover beauty flaws with thick make up. For me. I do not like Neither Extensive Facial care Nor thick make up... My Best thing is not to do anything at all so you wont have to fuss about removing make up before you sleep or I need to worry about the time i need to spend on my face before going out resulting in being late for the meeting.

No I am not being Ironic complaining about my chores yet the pictures posted up are clearly well made up... I am just telling my opinion... So there are no right or wrong ... :P

Basic Facial Regime comprises of Cleanser, Toner, Moisturize and things you want to target on example my dark eye rings ... These alone may cost about 100 plus per month .. and I aint kidding .. I had my recent purchase of Fancl basic facial regime that will last me about a month plus costing about 100+ ... These are consider cheap.. Skin Food alone will cost me about 500 plus for 6 months so rather have my cost spread out rather than spending all at once.. Basic regime needs twice a day before and after make up. So let's just see all these investment are worth while or not..lol ..

Main problem comprises of :

Eye: Dark Eye Circle, Eye Bags or wrinkles
Chapped lips
Neck: Visible lines that really shows your age...

Make up are testing of a girl's creativity and technique is also about knowing yourself...Emphasizing the best features you have and covering your own flaws so you would be PERFECT for the opposite sex... But what is too much ? What is too fake? Didnt you want this in the first place? you were always saying that this taiwan actress is really cute... This American actress is smoking hot or this Japanese girl Kawaii ...Dont blame us for trying too hard when you set the standard ...

All these beauty are not as natural as you think each model are flawlessly made up, and nicely touched up with photo shop ... So imagine What will celebrity look like without make up and all the photo shop touch up ...

These are actually the regime I usually go for.. It takes me about ten- fifteen minutes to finish my make up. Consider speedy.. but if you want the emphasize the beauty of your eyes more you may wanna add some fake eye lash... so far I still have some difficulty in putting on fake eye lash ... It's difficult!! All and all expenses may add up accordingly

Face Alone ... So shouldnt we earn more money just to cover up our expenses in terms of face. If you were to calculate on a average wages of 2200 per month your face alone makes up to 10 percent of your pay... It's hard being a girl ... you have no idea how many times I have procrastinate that being a girl is tedious ... not only we have to fuss about our face we have to fuss about what to wear what we wanna portray ... If I were to choose I rather choose brains than beauty ... I dont really care if I am fat or thin ... But when there are parents like my mum ringing the you are fat siren whenever she meets her friend or whenever I gain weight it frustrates me... -_-"' I rather be slimmer than to hear I am fat everyday ...

When we are making an effort to make ourselves look more presentable shouldnt we get a grooming allowance ? I'm sure you wouldnt want a Ugly looking woman sitting at the desk across you doing work right ? you rather have a hot presentable woman sitting at the office .. Not only it portrays positive outlook towards your company ... It also portrays that this company employs good taste and smart woman :D

Same goes to marriage ... you wanna brag to me that inner beauty is way more important than outer beauty ... HONESTLY ... what do you see first ? her looks or character? The inner beauty answer is just a Civic and moral model answer that you tell woman to make them feel at ease ... I used to believe it last time but after a while ... Guys tend to say ... why dont you go lose weight or something... They want you to improve ... on your looks ... If I feel comfortable ... shouldnt you be accepting who I am too ? After a pregnancy and all do you think my body wouldnt change in the future ? lol ! Unless you wanna pay for my slimming treatment la I dont mind .. :P

(Who doesnt wanna be as slim as Christy ?? If I have money I wouldnt even mind paying after giving birth to childrens )

After much deliberation, there will always be a debate on whether making so much effort to make yourself pretty is worth it or not.. Many people may say ... I'm not the one who ask you to do all those tedious stuff... why blame it on someone when it's clearly you who is lack of confidence... lol! I am confident of who I am .. but lets face it ... People love pretty things ... If you look like a ghost people criticize and remember your worst moment rather than your finest ... I wonder how will I look Like with every thing .. fake eye lash and Color contact and all.. will you say I'm fake ? OR maybe you wouldnt recognize me at all~ lol Never judge the book by its cover... maintaining your looks doesnt mean you dont have the brains there are many girls that can have both brains and beauty... So Guys,... Watch out ! Here we come ;)

Natas Fair 2011

Yo !

Went to Natas Fair last weekend ... Nope not going overseas this year.. but just going over to soak in the ambiance lol ~ Looking at the planning process is really fun ! lol !!

Met Qx up with kek family at hawker nearby lol ~ I wore a straw hat and sunglasses since the weather is so sunny it feels like summer every day :D

As usual we were late... on our way there, there were 4 accidents.. so we label it accident day!!

What I notice this year is that it wasnt as crowded in the past.. could have the crowd died down due to financial status and future rise of oil prices and Gst ? If they were to rise shouldn't everyone be grabbing the opportunity before the oil prices rocket further and Gst rocket as well ? Anyway it's just my personal opinion lol !

After gathering so many brochures our hands are super duper tired... and I am not exaggerating the next day i had muscle ache at my arm... lol We dumped all the brochures into the car boot... (and yes at that very moment i feel so lucky we have a car that day ! llol )

Qx, Qy, and Edwin have to discuss about the trip before heading down to make the final decision .. and we all just did it Banglah style ( Yeah i know I'm racist ) but it's true ~ We did it right on the grass and just discuss lol ! it really feels like a picnic.. So while they were busy I just took a few photos and head down over to the borders sale!

The news might not affect me as much as my father but still it is something to wonder about. My Father's friend just past away... After suffering from depression, he stab himself more than ten times ... he appeared on malaysia news ... wow ... how fragile life can be .. when my daddy tried so hard to ask his friend out but they last met at December...Some things you may treat it with competence but when competence blinds you ... it will be too late to change everything ... treasure the person beside you ... even if she/he dont want to talk it's okay ... as long as your friend is happy you will be happy. ... Uncle may not be in this world now... but I hope he can see my father love his best friend very much and he will be greatly missed...

I had this argument with my mum the other day and i realize one major fault in human ... lol !

Let me ask you this : " Do you ever Feel really angry, Bad or awkward when someone points at your fault? "

Yes I do .... some times when people are brutally honest with me which i like.... they point out negatative traits of mine that will make me feel awkward and self conscious ... So some times in order to tackle this .... we use the proverb that is VERY well known to all, :" Ignorance is Bliss"

The question is ... does ignorance covers you from everything that is happening around you ? The truth that is push aside will always remain there ... Reality sink and you realize the problem start reoccurring again this frustrates me sometimes ...

So what i learn is that human like to hear what they wanna hear ... it is good because you are protecting yourself so you wont be hurt ... But things will still move... reality will still be there waiting for you to see them again ...

Ignorance and bo chup-ness might be blissful ... but you cannot escape forever because they do haunt you in the end...

You just have to face them head on ~ ! and tackle the problem and resolve it only then you will feel that ... you can move on to the next step in life... resolve your problems and move on ... There's no escaping reality because they may bit you at your butt ;)

I may be brutally blunt at times ... especially to my mum ... but that doesnt mean i am bad, or disrespecting you ... I did this because I love you ... and I dont want you to get hurt by anyone ... I rather you hear it from me than to get humiliated by your friends because I wont laugh at you when you are down ... I will only encourage you to stand up at your feet and try again .. I guess you will never know because you dont read blog lol ! Love comes in various form ... mine is more aggressive because I know you are as stubborn and naive as I am ... I got burnt ... I dont want you to get burnt either ... If only you knew what lies beneath this rebellious girl of yours ... Sometimes I wish you will be proud of me ... of what I have achieve and yet ... I didnt get those lol ~ but it's okay ... because I know I must live for my own ... heh ~ No matter what... I want to be a good daughter to you and in the future .. Sometimes you make me really angry .... but it's not in my place to condemn my mum because I know you love me.. you want me to be what you want me to be ... But I can't because that wouldnt be me... at all...

People who read this may see me now as a child who wants attention of my mother... and to be recognize .. YES I do... but I dont want to force it I want to get it naturally ... and I am very patient even when I die ...and I dont get what I seek it's okay ... because in time truth will come :D

Sometimes I may put in a way my mum is like a monster... dont believe it hahaha because people who put others like monsters tend to be biased and opinionated. Look at the bigger picture and you'll see the truth behind all these action ... sometimes it's kinda funny when you look at it ...I know some of you may agree with me *wink

Well I argue with you I shout at you I disrespected you ... BUT I STILL LOVE YOU VERY MUCH ! I'm not doing this for show... I just want my mummy to know (in future)
